The Alaska Lounge Network: Locations, Access, and Tips

Every Alaska Lounge in the U.S., who qualifies for entry, and how Bank of America card access changed in 2024.

Alaska Airlines operates one of the more interesting regional lounge networks in the United States — concentrated heavily on the West Coast but with a few notable East Coast outposts. Here's what's open, who can use it, and how the program changed in 2024.

Locations. SEA: four Alaska Lounge locations (N Satellite, Concourse C, Concourse D). PDX, ANC, LAX (Terminal 6), SFO (Terminal 2), JFK (Terminal 7 — set to relocate to Terminal 8 with American). The SEA N Satellite location is the network's flagship, with floor-to-ceiling tarmac views and a full restaurant-style food program.

Annual membership. Alaska Lounge+ membership runs $550–$650 depending on promotional pricing and includes unlimited visits, two free guests or immediate family, and access to most American Admirals Club locations on a same-day Alaska or American flight (a recent reciprocal benefit).

Card access changes. Bank of America's Alaska Airlines Visa Signature card historically included a discounted $50 day pass to the Alaska Lounge network. As of 2024, this benefit was modified — the discounted day pass remains but is now subject to availability and limited to four passes per year. Always check the current card terms.

Day pass. Walk-up day pass: $60. Available at all open Alaska Lounge locations to passengers with a same-day Alaska Airlines or other qualifying ticket.

Reciprocal access. Active Alaska Lounge+ members can now use most American Airlines Admirals Clubs on a same-day flight, a benefit added when American and Alaska deepened their oneworld partnership. Conversely, Admirals Club members can use most Alaska Lounges in the U.S. on a same-day Alaska or American flight.

Food and drink. The food program at Alaska Lounges is meaningfully better than United Club or Admirals Club at most locations — emphasis on Pacific Northwest ingredients, locally-sourced bread, and pancake-machine-of-fame breakfast at SEA. Open bar with craft cocktails at flagship locations.

Crowding. The SEA N Satellite location can hit capacity during the morning departure bank — Alaska sometimes runs a paid line-cutting reservation system at peak times. Other Alaska Lounges typically have available seating throughout the day.

Verdict: for travelers based in Seattle, Portland, or Anchorage who fly Alaska regularly, the Alaska Lounge+ membership is one of the best per-dollar lounge values in the country, particularly with the new reciprocal Admirals Club access on same-day American or Alaska flights.
